swim

verb (used without object)1. to move in water by movements of the limbs, fins, tail, etc. 2. to float on the surface of water or some other liquid.

We love to swim (hence the backyard pool) and last summer was the summer T finally learned to swim without his life jacket.  At the beginning of our trip he was still using one but by the end he was swimming the full length of the pool at the Caribe with nothing.  That's my boy!

At our first stop, the Great Wolf Lodge in Virginia, the kids spent the entire two days (from open to close) swimming at the indoor water park.  There were some insane rides (that only Rissa and Cass dared to go on).  I really enjoyed our time there and felt like it was a great way to kick off our trip.  It was one of T's favorite stops.  Here's a page of the kiddos in the water park.  Enjoy, Kim
